A LITTLE BIT ABOUT
ME
I’m Madison Gray, a Dallas-based designer with West Texas roots, and I’ve always believed in finding beauty and purpose in unexpected places. Relic began as a way to merge my passion for design and my admiration for the makers of the past. Each jacket in my collection is crafted from quilts and textiles that carry history in their stitches, and every piece is designed and made with care in my Dallas studio.
The name “Relic” reflects my mission to give new life to forgotten materials while celebrating the legacy of creativity that’s been passed down through generations of women in my family. From choosing the perfect fabric to naming each style after a woman in my lineage, I’m committed to creating clothing that is meaningful, sustainable, and one-of-a-kind.
In addition to my jackets, I’m proud to share my passion for floral design. On the surface, these two pursuits might seem different, but they both embody my love for bold color, thoughtful craftsmanship, and the joy of creating something beautiful and unique.

WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
For me, designing jackets and arranging flowers is more than a creative outlet—it’s a way of giving new life to things that might otherwise be discarded. I’ve always been resourceful, finding ways to reuse and repurpose objects with care and intention. There’s something so rewarding about transforming a quilt with a history into a jacket with a story or taking vibrant blooms and turning them into a moment of pure joy.
Color is at the heart of everything I do. It’s the thread that connects my jackets to my floral designs, a constant reminder of the beauty and vibrancy in the world around us. Whether I’m stitching together fabrics or arranging flowers, I love the challenge of turning simple materials into something that inspires and delights. Relic is my way of sharing that joy with the world.
